Lights off for the 2025 season. Thank you for an amazing year!

LIGHTS. MAGIC. SICKKIDS.
Pickering's magical light extravaganza
Hand-made, Disney-inspired, and glowing with 20,000+ lights — free to visit, supporting SickKids. Nestled in South Pickering’s Bay Ridges — only 30 minutes east of Toronto and steps from the Pickering GO — our lights are closer than you think.
We love the magic of Christmas.
Every wooden cut-out you see is handcrafted by our family. Mom is the artist and electrical wizard, Dad is the woodworker and builder, and our two kids help bring every scene to life. This is our thing — our holiday tradition. We create it with love, laughter, and a lot of tangled lights. We hope it brings you joy, wonder, and a little extra magic this season.
Thank you for visiting — you’re part of the magic now.

Frequently Asked Questions.
It's a family effort. All of our wooden cut outs are handcrafted by all of us. Mom is the artist and electrical wizard, Dad is the wood worker and builder and our kids help bring our display to life at night as they entertain our visitors on some nights as they dress up as inflatable gingerbread. (see last FAQ for more info on this!)
They are all LED lights so just a little bit more than blasting our air conditioning in July.
Hundreds of hours!!! We start in October and grateful for two kids, two awesome nieces and some brave friends who come help us.
Not really. We have a regular 200AMP box for lights and our whole house.
Around 400 extension cords and six timers.
We have a very large shed with a second ‘floor’. The wood cut outs don’t take up too much space either!
We stopped counting at 20,000!
Our inflatable friends (like the gingerbread crew!) make appearances on many nights — especially weekends — but we don’t have a set schedule. They’re powered by some very real kids who juggle soccer, swimming, violin, homework, and the occasional dislike of freezing temperatures ❄️.
We do our best to have them out as often as possible, especially when the weather cooperates and the holiday spirit’s high!
